What grain(s) do you use for your spirits?
Corn

Do you produce bourbon or whisky?
Not currently. The closest thing to it is our Sugar Shine. We can’t call that whisky because we use sugar in the fermentation process, and it wasn’t aged in oak barrels. Whisky must be made only with grain.

Do you sell cocktails?
Only during certain events such as comedy night or special demonstrations. We do not offer cocktails in the tasting room as space is limited at the distillery.

Why do you not have a Gin?
John isn’t a big gin fan and there are several local distilleries like Temple Distilling and James Bay Distilling that do excellent gins.

You are only open on weekends; can I pick things up during the week?
Yes, order online and give us a call and we’ll work out the time that works! You can also just tell us what you want on the phone, and we’ll pull it for you, and you can pay when you pick it up.

Can we have a private event at the distillery?
Yes, we have a capacity limit of 14 people. Feel free to contact Fiona our Events Coordinator at fiona@wohlfert.com and work it out.

How long have you been open?
We opened in April of 2021

Can kids come to the distillery?
Yes, but they are not allowed to be in our tasting room. They can hang in the distillery just not the tasting room where spirits are consumed

What about Dogs?
We are dog friendly, but unfortunately furry friends cannot be in the tasting room

Do you have bottling parties like wineries?
Yes, after purchasing, you’ll get an email about how to get on the bottling crew mailing list! It’s super fun!
